80% limit will fully charge pixels every 1 to 2 weeks

With Android 16 Beta 3, Google is now more precise on the way in which the “80%limit” will fully charge your pixel to “each at two weeks”.

Previously, the information text at the bottom of the load optimization page explained how your “telephone will occasionally take care of 100% to recalibrate the estimated capacity”.

This text has been updated with Android 16 Beta 3 to provide a more specific time range: “Your phone will take care of 100% once every one to two weeks to maintain the ratio of the battery level.”

Google introduced this load limit of 80% in December with Android 15 QPR1, and it is a popular parameter for those who prioritize the longevity of their battery. Some want an easier way to deactivate this than to go to settings> Battery> Load optimization. A tile of quick parameters to deactivate the adaptive load or the 80% limit can be practical when you always need a completely loaded pixel, as during travel.

Meanwhile, Android 16 Beta 3 introduces another tap to get to the loading of loading since it was moved to the bottom of the battery health page, which will probably arrive in June with the wider update of the operating system.
