Fatal shooting in Easley, Walmart video scene

IN THE MORNING, THE CORONER IDENTIFIED THE ARMED SUSPECT SHOT AND KILLED BY POLICE IN A UPstate WALMART. JAMIR JOINS US NOW WITH THE LATEST JAMYA. Yeah, AARON, the Pickens County Coroner’s Office has identified the suspect who was shot and killed last night, right here in this Walmart parking lot behind me. They identified the suspect as Sean Elrod of Easley. EASLEY POLICE WERE CALLED TO WALMART CIRCLE ON ROLLING HILLS AROUND 7 P.M., THE SUSPECT WAS ARMED WITH A WEAPON. EASLEY POLICE SAY OFFICERS TRIED TO DEAGRICATE THE SITUATION. HOWEVER, AT LEAST ONE OFFICER FIRED HIS WEAPON. THE MOMENTS LEADING TO THE SHOOTING HAVE NOT YET BEEN PUBLISHED.
