Sometimes a game can captivate you simply by its title. And that’s certainly the case with Duck Detective: The Secret Salami. Why is the duck a detective? As you might have guessed, Duck Detective isn’t exactly a From Hell-style thrill adventure game. This is a decidedly comedic take on Happy Broccoli Games in which you play as Eugene McQuacklin, the titular detective. This unlucky duck will have to unravel the secret of the missing salami by engaging in witty dialogue and solving various puzzles.
As you might also expect, Duck Detective is definitely a release for all ages. So it’s suitable for everyone, from old farts to young people new to gaming. And with a charming art style and presentation, it’s sure to capture the imagination of even the most jaded point-and-click fans.

Okay, an anthropomorphic animal detective isn’t exactly a new concept (spot the Brok the InvestiGator comparisons), but for those of you looking to give your kids a more enjoyable introduction to gaming than something like Fortnite, or simply to rediscover their sense of childhood. I wonder, you can do a lot worse than Duck Detective.
Running 2-3 hours and featuring a series of fully voice-acted dialogue as well as hilarious asides, you can pre-register for Duck Detective on your platform of choice ahead of a scheduled release on April 9.
