During the last day, Android phones and tablets encountered an error message “Google Play Store continues to stop”.
This system warning usually appears when Android applications block. However, Google Play works normally as far as we can see it. There is no impact on navigation, download or update of applications outside the message.
It appeared several times for us in the last 24 hours, but there does not seem to be any specific user action which triggers it. Something related to the play store could crash in the background.
We see it on Android phones and tablets. On our Pixel tablet, “continues to stop” appears and covers the clock of the Hub mode. More recently, it appeared twice during an hour. Otherwise, on phones, everything that is happening is not particularly disruptive.
There is no obvious correction, but I hope that Google will address this on their side via the server side update.
