Apple published iOS 18.3 on January 27, more than a month after the company published iOS 18.2. Although the last update changes some features, including Apple Intelligence’s notification summaries, it also corrects a handful of bugs. And Apple said that one of these bugs may have been actively exploited in the previous iOS versions, potentially granting others an unauthorized access.
To download the update, go to Settings> General> Software updatethen press Update And follow the prompts on your screen.

According to Apple, the update corrects more than 20 bugs, but the company said that a problem with the Media frame may have been actively exploited. This framework helps manage and process audio and visual data on your iPhone.
Apple wrote in the update CVE input – These are vulnerabilities and current exposure – that a request could be able to raise privileges. According to EC councilA research and certification organization of information security, the climbing of privileges allows a malicious player to access sensitive data on your device. Updating iOS 18.3 will help prevent these people from obtaining unauthorized access to your iPhone
Apple wrote online that he is aware of a report that this bug may have been used against iOS software before iOS 17.2. It is not clear if this bug later affected iOS versions, but it is better to update your device now to offer you as much protection as possible.
