where did the creative process go? – The Skyline View

In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has gradually increased in its use – from rapid research to vocal identification – it is one of the subtle technological advances that have been integrated into our daily life. It is to the point of being shocked when AI is used for basic critical thinking such as Chatgpt, many mathematical AI applications (even if I really don’t want to hate them). Many uses of AI are accepted in particular when used as a tool to help others or themselves, but I believe that AI used to generate art is something that should not have be created.

The AI code when making “art” is something that few people understand. Generative AI uses a database of the art of Real People and interprets the works to generate an “ illustration ” which resembles what is in its database, although it reflects any invitation entry by the user . Those who use AI should be informed that the complaint of such graphics would be the same as tracing another person’s work.

You can see the difference in the quality of the work of AI compared to a human if you look quite carefully. The art of AI is generally found with watching shadows, members of living creatures being moved, lines doubling in strange places and all, a little strange after having given it a second look.

An example of that would be when my brother noticed an image of a YouTube video. At first glance, he seemed to be a normal coconut cup decorated with gingerbread men. There was a sweet glow that covered the whole image that seemed to be snow, but that’s where the observation took place before seeing quirks that did not make sense. The handle of the cut was a little twisted, the face of the gingerbread was not clear, and the red cup was merged with the white snow that covered the bottom of the image, which made me guess what The “ cup ” was supposed to be. It was subtle, but he was not a difference.

History continues below advertising

If the problem stopped there, it would have been good, but lately, there are people who use the art of AI to make their own “work”. The work, of course, is done by the computer, but people seem to love it more than what real artists do, even if some pieces seem a little strange. This could be due to the fact that the art styles are aesthetically pleasant for many.

I admit that I feel a little bitter when I see the users online get more likes on the art generated by the AI than the work of art I made myself. My feelings and my efforts involved are rejected by artificial intelligence, which can only deduce and create similar works. Again, there are also other AI uses that I saw digital artists use: for example, using and taking advantage of the inspiration generated by AI as inspiration and trying to do it again even better. If AI uses our art, why can’t we? The results vary depending on the person, but there is a distinct difference which makes it all the more better.

Like this, we can use AI to help us make illustrations, do not make it do the creative process for us, because the way we currently use them is slowing down our capacities and our opportunities. If we can use AI this way, I think it will benefit everyone, especially talented artists around the world in the long term.
