The update Blackview Tab 90 WiFi (version 2025) is an 11 -inch tablet which is an excellent example, offering solid features at a budgetary price.

This screen is certified Widevine L1, allowing high definition streaming from platforms like Netflix, HBO and Amazon Prime. Although this is not the most advanced screen on the market, it offers bright colors, brilliant whites and deep blacks, which makes it more than sufficient for daily use.

The tablet is also 9.5 mm thick, which seems super thin but is really only an illusion because my iPad is half thick again.

Under the hood, the tablet is delivered with 4 GB of RAM (expandable up to 8 GB) and 128 GB of internal storage. It also includes a TF location (microSD) which supports up to 1 TB of additional storage, which makes it very versatile for users with large media libraries. The cameras are respectable for a budgetary apparatus, with a 13 -megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera.

The UMS9230 UNISOC processor feeds the tablet, replacing the previous Tiger Tiger T606. Both are octa-core chips operating at 1.6 GHz, the more recent processor offering slight efficiency improvements. Although it is not a power plant, it manages daily tasks gently, especially when associated with the enlarged RAM.

In terms of battery life, the 8,200 mAh battery offers up to 10 hours of general use, which is sufficient for most users. However, the tablet only supports 10W fast load, which means that it takes about an hour to reach 30% and almost four hours for a full load. Although this is certainly not considered “fast”, it is acceptable for a device in this price range.

You get a lot of tablet for the price.

The remarkable characteristic of WiFi TAB 90 is its inclusion of Android 15, which considerably improves the performance and conviviality of the tablet. The updated operating system seems to be rationalized and reactive, in particular when associated with the 8 GB of enlarged RAM.

Features such as recognition of handwriting and multitasking take place gently, which gives the tablet a much more premium device than its price suggests.

ZDNET purchase advice

At its regular price of $ 150, the Blackview Tab 90 WiFi is already a lot. However, with a current discount of $ 40 on Amazon, it is available for only $ 110: an absolute flight. This makes it an excellent choice for students, professionals or anyone who needs a reliable tablet for environments such as workshops or kitchens, where more expensive apparatus like iPads could risk damage.

Despite the possession of an iPad Pro, I found myself more often to seek the WiFi Tab 90. He delivers everything I need a tablet at a fraction of the cost. Although it is undeniably a budget device, its combination of features, performance and price makes it a convincing option for all those looking for a capable and affordable tablet.
