BloombergLast month, by Mark Gurman reported that Apple was considering delaying at least part of his Apple intelligence improvements promised for Siri to iOS 18.5, and that the plan seems more and more likely on the basis of his latest information.
Gurman said that Apple initially planned to launch Apple Intelligence’s improvements for Siri in iOS 18.4, but it seems that the features have been postponed to iOS 18.5 due to a lack of preparation and software bugs. Consequently, none of the promised features are available in the first beta version of iOS 18.4 published last month.
In his Rise Newsletter todayHe said that the features will be available in iOS 18.5:
The follow -up, iOS 18.5, is the place where good things are supposed to meet. He siri infused by AI that the company showed last June, as well as support for Apple Intelligence in China.
Apple software engineers have been testing internally iOS 18.5 since at least the beginning of February, according to the Macrumors Visitors’ newspapers.
Gurman expects iOS 18.5 to be published in May, but beta tests should start earlier:
Siri’s next version will be a test to know if Apple can set up a return. The software is probably published in May, 11 full months after its introduction.
It is always possible that some of the Siri upgrades can arrive in a subsequent beta 18.4 beta version, but Gurman seems to be looking into the 18.5 iOS calendar for the moment.
Surijournities will include awareness of the screen, understanding the personal context of a user and deeper application controls. For example, during its Keynote WWDC 2024, Apple showed an iPhone user questioning Siri on the flight and lunch books of their mother based on mail and messages applications.
Apple Intelligence requires an iPhone 15 pro, iPhone 15 pro Max or any iPhone 16 model.
