Indeed, OnePlus announces up to five days of battery life in typical “intelligent” mode, and I can confirm that this is correct. A five -day battery life for a smartwatch is unknown when Apple Watch, Google Pixel Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra are still lying in the two -day range. The OnePlus 3 watch is now competing with GPS sports watches that have Amoled screens, so if the battery life is your main factor for a smartwatch, you can’t go wrong with a OnePlus 3 watch.
This long battery life is obtained thanks to the ONEPLUS double engine architecture and the incorporation of a large battery of 631 mAh which uses the OnePlus Silicon Nanostack battery, similar to what is in the King OnePlus 13 battery.

The previous owners ONEPLUS Watch 2 were disappointed by the digital crown button only used as a button, so OnePlus has taken these comments, and now the digital crown is greater, has a certain texture on it and towers to navigate in the menus. Although the watch supports more than 100 sporting modes, the data screens that appear in these different sports are not customizable and are limited to certain default standard measurements. After completing your training, a large amount of data is indicated in the EHEALTH application, including the execution dynamics, the heart rate, the race power and much more. So, even if the watch does not show you much while you work, the data is collected and can be used later.

The watch is elegant, with a stainless steel case, a titanium telescope and a sapphire crystal display. The Vibrating AMOLED display has a 1.5 inch diameter with a resolution of 466 per 466 pixels and up to 2,200 brightness. It is a bit heavy at 81 grams, and only one size is available, so those who have smaller cuffs may not appreciate the size of the watch.
Health recording 60 seconds is a practical feature that allows you to check your heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress level, wrist temperature, sleep quality and vascular age by placing your finger on the button at the bottom right. However, OnePlus did not obtain approval from the FDA, so that ECG measures are not provided in the United States or Canada.
The OHEALTH Smartphone application is useful to display all the details of the data captured by the OnePlus 3 watch, but I don’t like that you cannot personalize the home screen tiles. Stress measures do not appear from me, and I do not use the OnePlus headphones, so I would like to remove these tiles from the page and reorganize the others that I want to see at the top. Health information is also quite limited.

The current form and the advanced measurement data that appears on the Fitness tab are excellent, however, and provide more information than the others. For example, the details of the execution dynamics are displayed in addition to a table that shows what you need to achieve to go to the highest next level. OnePlus also provides details on these measures so that you can understand how to improve them and if possible for your racing style.
The OnePlus 3 watch is a Google Wear OS 5 watch, so all the applications you know through portable devices in a similar way are at your disposal. However, there are still reasons why the Google Pixel watch is better from the point of view of an application. For example, with the Google Home application on Pixel Watch 3, I can display my different cameras, and on the OnePlus 3 watch, a screen appears that tells me to open the application on my phone.

OnePlus continues to improve its portable offers with the OnePlus Watch 3. Several improvements have been made to the equipment, and the battery life is the best we have seen on a smartwatch. The watch is also designed to withstand the elements, with IP68 and 5ATM notes, as well as the MIL-STD-810H certification. It is a beautiful functional smartwatch that is available at a reasonable price.
Unless Google and Samsung, or a surprise manufacturer, innovate this year, I don’t see why the OnePlus Watch 3 would not be the best option for Android users.
