Samsung mid -range phones get a 7 -time user interface in front of the Galaxy S24

Samsung generally does a good job with software updates, but this is not the case with a user interface 7. While most other manufacturers have deployed the update on Android 15 to their flagship products, Samsung is still on the beta canal, with a stable version scheduled for the month of April. To put things in context, Google plans to publish Android 16 in June, so when the Android 15 update takes place on most Galaxy S24 models around the world, the next version of Android will be ready.

This is not a problem with the brand’s Galaxy S25 devices, which has made its debut with an IU 7. Samsung has launched the Galaxy A36 and A56 in recent weeks, and the mid -range devices are also running a 7 -based user interface of the box, which means that they have the update before the Galaxy S24, S24 + and S24 models.

Characteristically, Samsung did not explain why the update took as long, noting only that it has planned seven beta versions. The endless wait means that the Galaxy S24 models last year will be the latest flagship products to go to Android 15; Xiaomi has traditionally been the Lagcard in this regard, but even the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra obtained the stable update based on Android 15 at the start of the year.

Like Google and Honor, Samsung guarantees seven years of Android updates to its flagship products, but the fact that the update is not available six months after the beginnings of the Android 15 Build team is worrying. Unlike recent versions, one UI 7 has many features, especially the bar now and now brief, even more AI utility, and a cleaner visual design that has been long to come.

Of course, all new additions do not make sense if it takes so long in Samsung to deploy the update of its phones, and it is interesting to see how Chinese manufacturers are now doing a much better work in this regard. OnePlus, for example, delivered the Stable Android 15 update of his phones in October, and he was followed by Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi, who started updates at the end of the year.

The long wait combined with the accelerated version of Android 16 means that Samsung must rush to deliver these updates to its older phones. And speaking of the Galaxy A56, while the brand has not changed too much with the device (again), the phone could be a decent choice if you need a middle store in the United States, where most Chinese manufacturers do not sell their products. This is not the case outside the country, because even budgetary phones like the Nothing Phone 3A Pro are a much better choice.

In the end, it is the Galaxy has models that contribute to the Samsung background line in a more significant way than the Galaxy series, it is therefore understandable that the brand is turning to the publication of new models instead of providing updates to its older phones.
