Happy Holidays to all, and Merry Christmas to those who celebrate them! I took a little break from writing to spend more time with family over the holidays. However, the Nokiamob team, although not as active as before, is still very much alive and well and wishes you all happy holidays.
Now, one of the most important aspects of owning a Nokia smartphone is the Android operating system and monthly security updates. HMD isn’t very transparent with its update plans, but has released a list of devices that will receive Android 15.
Here is the list:
- Nokia G42 5G
- Nokia G60 5G
- Nokia XR21 5G
- Nokia X30 5G
- HMD pulse family
- HMD Crest Family
- Fusion HMD
- HMD horizon
- HMD XR21 5G
- HMD T21
If you check the End of life website, you will see that this list is accurate.
Many Nokia devices have already appeared on Geekbench running Android 15, but the first device to officially receive it is the HMD Pulse Pro of the HMD Pulse series. The update, the version V2.370is quite large at 3.12 GB. I haven’t finished the installation yet but will do so as soon as I have time.
