Apple published the first beta version of iOS 18.5 last week, and so far, the software update has only two minor modifications.
The changes are in mail and parameters applications.
In the mail application, you can now easily deactivate contact photos directly in the application, by pressing the circle with three points in the upper right corner.
In the Settings application, there is new Applecare +information.

IOS 18.5 will probably be released to the general public in May.
