As presented last month, Chrome 135 for Android deploys an on -board on -board design for the bottom of your screen.
When you scroll through a web page, the Android gesture navigation bar is no longer displayed on a solid background, which Chrome started theme last year.
Instead, the gesture bar will appear on web content when scrolling for more immersive experience. This change will not really lead you to see more from the page, but it is a welcome chrome modernization, because more and more Android applications become edge to board.
The background remains visible on the initial loading of the page (when you are at the top of the screen) and scroll.
Static vs scrolling (2, 3)
Behind the scenes, Chrome displays a new “dynamic background bar” – called “the chin” – on the gesture navigation bar area that “will dynamically retract when the page scrolls down”.
This causes the window to be extent, allowing web content to be drawn to the lower edge of the device. »»
Chrome 135 should be widely deployed Via the Play Store. However, this change from edge to board takes place as an update on the distinct server side that more users are now seeing this week.
This happens first on “small screen” mobile devices, with a large screen support (tablet) to come later. It is also just for navigation navigation in gesture and not on navigation at 3 tips, which would benefit from a transparent design, provided that we can see it today.
