Bayern Munich player Jamal Musiala on where he’s happiest and what he thinks about his profession

Bayern Munich winger Jamal Musiala has had another solid season at Bayern Munich and recently spoke about what home means to him according to Sports Illustrated Germany (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

“My home is where my family is. Without them, I would not be where I am today. We have a good relationship and I do everything I can so that they too can live a good and happy life,” Musiala said.

Musiala seems to be a mature young man! He also added how he feels about his friends.

“I have always had a rather small circle of friends. It is mainly composed of people I grew up with, with whom I am in contact. Phonzy (Alphonso Davies) and Leroy (Sané) from the team have become friends over time, otherwise few people from outside have joined me. Also because there is simply no time for that.

Musiala is a hard worker who always has to be very demanding. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t love the beautiful game!

“I am happiest on the pitch, I feel free and I just enjoy playing. Every time I step on the pitch I see an opportunity to improve. I take something with me every time, it is an extra motivation. But the pleasure and joy I felt playing football as a child is still there,” Musiala said.

It’s really refreshing to hear that young Musiala still finds joy in the game despite the enormous pressure on him.
