A quick user user interface is identical to the Android 16 fast sharing action
The quick user interface received a major overhaul with an IU 8.0. It has separate tabs for the reception and sending functions. The user interface is more like a full-fledged application rather than a pop-up. And it seems that the user interface will not be exclusive to Samsung devices, because Stock Android 16 seems to have the same quick user interface. As you can see in the screenshots below, the quick sharing user interface in Android 16 and One UI 8.0 have tabs and send tabs.
The two interfaces also display the details of shared files and a QR code system to share files. Any Android smartphone or tablet user can simply scan the QR code provided to receive files via direct connection.
This decision seems to be logical because Google merged the sharing function near Android in the rapid part of Samsung last year and used the fast brand. He also introduced internet sharing after Samsung introduced it into a single user interface.
Since these are the first days of testing an 8.0 user interface, Samsung may not yet have introduced a lot of features, and we can see more features when the company launches the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in the second half of this year with Android 16 and one UI 8.0 on board.
