Apple released iOS 18.4.1 On April 16, more than two weeks after the company’s release iOS 18.4Which brought new emoji to everyone. Apple said that the last update provides significant bug corrections to your iPhone, and the update corrects two security problems that may have been exploited in “extremely sophisticated” attacks.

According to Apple’s output notes, iOS 18.4.1 Patche two security vulnerabilities. A vulnerability is in Basic audioApple digital audio infrastructure for iOS.
“The treatment of an audio flow in a maliciously manufactured multimedia file can lead to the execution of the code,” wrote Apple in relation to basic audio vulnerability. The execution of the code could allow a third party to steal your data or hack your device for other harmful purposes.
The other vulnerability in which the update fixes are found RPACA safety measure that Apple uses to protect against the exploitation of memory corruption bugs. Apple wrote that a malicious actor with reading and arbitrary writing capacities could bypass this safety measure. The corruption of memory can compromise your system and drive someone to fly or flee your data.
Apple wrote that these two vulnerabilities may have been used in targeted attacks against specific individuals. Although you may not be the planned goal of these attacks, you must always download the update now to make sure you have the most protection available for you and your data.
Apple also wrote that iOS 18.4.1 solves a rare problem that could prevent a carplay wireless connection in certain vehicles.
