Warm, humid air parked over Quebec will fuel a series of thunderstorms in parts of the province on Saturday as a cold front moves toward the region.
Some storms could become severe, with strong wind gusts and possible rotation being of particular concern among the strongest storms developing Saturday night.

Quebec is in the middle of summer, as a wave of warm, humid air continues over the province until the weekend. Humidex values will be around 40 from Montreal to Quebec City.
A cold front moving across the province on Saturday will serve as a trigger for thunderstorms that will easily develop over the moist air mass. These storms will likely begin west of Saguenay in the late afternoon, then move south and east in the evening.
