Tl; DR

  • Android 16 approaches the end of his test period, Beta 3 arriving last month.
  • Since then, Google has already shared an additional point version, sending existing bugs.
  • Now Beta 3.2 is lands on to repair some additional problems, including problems with haptic and energy consumption.

Before you know, Android 16 will be ready for its stable version. With the arrival of Beta 3 last month, we started to cross the threshold in the platform stability territory, but even at this late stage, there are still persistent bugs that need fixes. We have seen Google approach some of those with Android 16 Beta 3.1, and now we have a new generation of bugfixs entering with Beta 3.2

Just as we saw the last time, there is not much that this version is trying to address, and we play largely at this stage. But even with this very short changelog, Google always succeeds in fighting against certain significant consonance bugs:

  • Fixed an problem that caused a poorly calibrated haptic feedback in some cases. (Number 392319999,, Number 400455826))
  • Fixed an problem that caused an excessive battery discharge even if a device was not used. (Number 398329457))
  • Fixed a problem for Pixel 6 and 6 Pro devices which sometimes caused a flicker of the screen when they take photos or videos with the camera.
  • Fixed various other problems that have an impact on the stability and conviviality of the system.

Although we have seen Beta 3.1 tackles that Netflix Flicker Bug Netflix, it seems that Beta 3.2 does something about the recent problems that we have observed with haptic vibrations on the pixel phones that are wrong. The other big here is trying to sort the energy consumption on the run, which must have been very frustrating for users who lived.

As before, if you are already an Android 16 beta tester, there is nothing to worry about having to do here – Android 16 Beta 3.2 from Google will arrive on your Pixel phone as an OTA update. All you have to do is simply sit down and wait for this notification to hit your phone.
