Google is preparing a page “Battery health” parameters for Pixel since October 2022, and the work continues with Android 16 Beta 2.

Version 1.1.0.717462792 (against 1.1.0.697513890 on Android 15 and 16 Beta 1) Settings of parameters have the latest channels on the battery health page.
As we previously activated in Android 13 QPR1 (as indicated above), the work continuing in the future versions, this new page in the settings> Battery> The health of the battery will allow you to “see the state battery health and advice to extend your battery. ” The latter simply takes the form of support items, such as: activate the adaptive load, avoid extreme temperatures, deactivate the features that you do not need and update to the latest software. There is also a shortcut for loading optimization.

One of the most interesting aspects is the battery capacity, or the “estimated percentage of load that the battery can currently contain compared to a new standard battery”.
The capacity of the battery indicated above is before recalibration. It can change once the recalibration is finished.
Google will offer the possibility of “improving battery measurements” thanks to a recalibration process which takes a few weeks:
Your battery recalibrated. This process can take a few weeks. Once the \ u2019 is completed, the battery capacity will be updated. Recalibration in progress
When “the capacity of the battery is reduced”, “you may notice that your battery lasts less time between the loads.”
It remains to be seen if Google will really launch it with Android 16. The addition of the most recent battery of the Pixel was the temperature of the device in December.
