Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne form an elegant duo.
The 49-year-old actress and her 15-year-old son won the 2024 Tony Awards to celebrate The foreigners Sunday June 16. Produced by Jolie, the show earned 12 Tony nominations this year, including best musical.
Jolie, who presented at the ceremony, wore a custom teal Atelier Versace strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline and a flowingly draped corset bodice, complemented by a matching velvet bolero. She held her daughter’s hand on the red carpet at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York. She wore her hair in a casual hairstyle and matching satin Versace shoes.
Vivienne, who appears in The Outsiders poster as a production assistant, she wore a coordinated ensemble consisting of a crisp white shirt under a teal vest, along with teal pants and a bow tie. She completed her look with Converse sneakers.

The couple’s night out is extra special, especially since Jolie previously opened up about how Vivienne inspired her to take part in the Broadway gig.
“She attended an initial workshop several times and then invited me to attend,” said the Maleficent the star told PEOPLE at The foreigners‘ opening night last April.
“Viv is a young artist who focuses her efforts on supporting others,” Jolie added. “She was there to help in any way she could and learned a lot from Justin Levine (writer and co-author of the book) and the entire creative team.”
Jolie and Vivienne hit the carpet on April 11, rocking their personal styles as they celebrated the opening. The Oscar winner wore a gold slip dress and matching silk cape, while Vivienne wore a navy jumpsuit that matched Levine’s.

By speaking with DeadlineJolie said collaborating with theater fan Vivienne behind the scenes allowed her to approach the show’s production from a different perspective – and gave her the opportunity to learn more about her daughter.
“It was a very different experience to understand how this is having a significant effect on her as a young person right now, and it’s communicating something to me, and that’s the power of this material,” she said .
Jolie added, “For me it was a time to learn more about Viv, not for me who was thinking about becoming a producer.”
