According to a new report.
The New York Times has published an instantaneous Apple’s current difficulties with AI – which, of course, is the intelligence of Apple, not artificial intelligence. According to the alleged initiates of Apple, society suffers from “political struggles, penny pinching and talent drainage”.
There was apparently an executive reshuffle which saw the former leader of Siri John Giannandrea. However, the most encouraging point in the room reveals that Siri Improved AI-A-Enhanced is still in progress this year, with a specific autumn launch window mentioned.
The report is not more specific than that, but it probably does not need it. With the fall falling in September, October and November here in the northern hemisphere, it seems likely that the new SIRI IA will be available alongside iOS 19 in September – or very shortly after.
Why this new release date Ai Siri is a positive
Believe it or not, this new launch window can be classified as good news. Last month, Apple was forced to make a statement revealing that the new smarter Siri would arrive “in the coming year”.
This has led many pessimistic types (guilty as accused) to speculate that this meant in early 2026. Confirmation that Apple spokesperson really meant within the calendar The year is progress, of a kind.
Of course, the new Siri entirely singing was initially supposed to be launched shortly after the launch of iOS 18. Indeed, it was a central part of the advertising thrust for the iPhone 16 range, which was then drawn and happy.
According to Inside Reports, Apple noted that its new Siri assistant has provided inaccurate responses to almost a third of the requests.

What can the new Siri do?
The new Siri Intelligence Intelligence is supposed to be much more contextual than the current assistant. This should imply to be able to work on applications, as well as to be able to analyze everything on the screen at the time.
You should be able to follow your usual Siri questions without needing to travel the context, as if the previous interaction never happened. It should also be able to directly control specific application functions.
All this seems to be a cruelly necessary boost of the personal assistant of the original smartphone, which has lagged behind the competing arrangements (notably Google Assistant and now Gemini) since its launch in 2011.
