Apple released public beta 2 of iOS 18.3 on Tuesday. The update is available to developers and public beta testers. It offers some improvements and bug fixes compared to the previous version.
Although the beta version does not offer major updates, it does have several minor improvements. One notable change is the ability to repeat operations in the Calculator app without re-entering the equation. This feature allows users to double a number by pressing the equal sign multiple times.
It was previously removed in an earlier update, but has now been reinstated. The beta also includes minor cosmetic changes.
Minor updates and fixes in iOS
For example, there is a dark mode icon for the Camera Control option in Settings. However, beyond these small visual changes, most of the updates appear to be internal. As this is only the second public beta of iOS 18.3, more updates and features could be added.
The final version has not yet been made public. Apple has not announced a release date for official iOS 18.3.
If you decide to try the beta, it is recommended that you download it on a secondary device. Since this is not the final version, the update may contain bugs.
Battery life may also be affected. For more updates on iOS, stay tuned for other announcements from Apple.
