Insider Industress Mark Gurman reports that Apple will be less focused on the contribution of new AI features to the iPhone with the release of iOS 19. Instead, Apple will simply try to extend the current AI features to more applications and services. The thing is that most Users do not care about AI. It may seem good in marketing equipment and it probably seems impressive during shareholders meetings, but most of the end consumers are not really interested. For them, it looks like another fashion that will pass sooner or later. Social media is full of iPhone users asking Apple to correct current iOS bugs instead of spending so much time on AI.
In my opinion, Apple jumped on the AI train for fear of missing and being left for the next major craze. But that’s not what Apple has ever been as a business. Apple is still late for most technological innovations, because she still likes to do things in her own way.
Apple Intelligence is a pleated collection in disorder of half -cooked intermediary functionalities that do not work even for users who want to use them. Focusing on other more pressing questions before putting your attention to AI is certainly the right call to make.
