Apple could facilitate talking to people in different languages to Airpods Users. According to familiar sources with the question, BloombergMark Gurman says that Apple works to provide a live translation on AirPods with iOS 19. The functionality appeared on headphones outside AirPods before; Google brought it to Pixel powderWhile other brands headphones like Timekettle integrate technology using AI. We do not know how the Apple version will work, but if the AI is involved, you can bet that Apple Intelligence will be mentioned.
Live translation takes up what a person tells you using the microphones in your helmet. If what is spoken is in a language that you cannot understand, the system will translate it automatically and will come back to you in real time. Airpods with the best microphones are the AirPods Pro 2 and the AirPods Max, but it is not clear if the function will be exclusive to high -end models or if it will also reach the Airpods 4.
It seems that this Airpods function will be a small part of iOS 19, which would be a massive upgrade.
