The Houston Texans and Chicago Bears will play in the 2024 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game this Thursday, Aug. 1, as part of Induction Week in Canton, Ohio. The Bears-Texans matchup marks the first preseason game of the 2024-25 season — the National Football League’s 105th — in the league’s hometown at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
On Saturday, August 3, seven players will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame: Dwight Freeney, Randy Gradishar, Devin Hester, Andre Johnson, Steve McMichael, Julius Peppers and Patrick Willis will all be inducted at 12 p.m. following a parade through downtown Canton. The Football Hall of Fame has a total of 378 members (including this year’s inductee class), and the induction ceremony will be broadcast live on ESPN and NFL Network from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
