Bryce Harper is officially the best playoff hitter of all time

The Philadelphia Phillies won 10-2 on Wednesday night and are one win away from advancing to the NLCS for the second straight year. A big reason for their success is first baseman Bryce Harper. Through five playoff games this year, Harper scored .353/.500/.882. That’s pretty good for a 1.382 OPS.

Harper has been outstanding in the playoffs. Although he didn’t win the World Series, it was no fault of his own. After all, the two-time National League MVP is the 2022 NLCS MVP. His career postseason OPS is an astonishingly high 1.010.

Which begs the question: “How great was Harper’s playoff career?”
