TaylorMade is bringing back its popular Pix USA design for its TP5 and TP5x golf balls for this July 4th holiday, but the company is adding a new addition to the patriotic lineup with the Tour Response Stripe USA golf balls.
With the TP5 and TP5x Pix balls, strategically placed graphics on the ball form a “Clearpath Alignment,” which frames the TaylorMade logo and TP5 stamp to create a clear line between the ball and the hole, providing instant visual feedback. The graphics are the same as traditional retail, but are done in a stars and stripes pattern.
TP5 golf balls feature the same technology as the standard version, including the five-layer design and High-Flex Material (HFM) in the mantle to deliver a combination of faster speeds with softer feel and acoustics.
The Tour Response Stripe USA is new this year. The Tour Response was designed to incorporate Tour-level technology for recreational players. That means this version of the ball has been updated with a new dimple pattern—first used in the TP5 and TP5x balls—to promote better aerodynamics and greater carry distance.
The striped models feature 360° ClearPath alignment and the alignment aid is divided into three sections—red, white and blue—each with a row of stars to help you find the bottom of the cup.
