OPENAI performs its advanced research and analysis functionality, Deep Research, more broadly available. Originally launched in February as an exclusive offer for Chatgpt Pro users, the tool will now be accessible to users on Chatgpt Plus, Team and Pro Plans, as well as free users via a new light version.
What is deep research?
Deep Research, powered by the O3 model of OPENAI, helps users to generate in -depth reports and information in a fraction of time that would be a human. He lives in Chatgpt and rationalizes the process of collecting and presenting information.
OPENAI says that deep research has become more and more popular since its launch, people who use it for literature reviews, market analysis, life decisions such as the choice of a college or a place to live, of the skin routine planning and much more.
To develop access, Openai has now spear A light version of deep research, propelled by its O4-Mini model. The company claims that this model provides answers which are “almost as intelligent” as those of the full version, while being more profitable to operate. Although the answers are shorter, the OpenAi promises, they will always keep the same depth and the same quality as the responses of the full version of the tool.
Limits of use of in -depth research by plan
Although access to in -depth research will take place, the limits of use will vary depending on your Chatgpt subscription:
- Free users: five tasks per month (light version only)
- Plus and team users: 10 tasks / month (full version) + 15 tasks / month (light version)
- Professional users: 125 tasks / month (full version) + 125 tasks / month (light version)
- Business users: 10 tasks / month (full version)
Once a user reaches the full version limit, Chatgpt will automatically switch to the light version to avoid interruptions. In addition, EDU users will have access to the tool from next week.
