In September, Chrome started the Android navigation bar for a slightly more immersive experience in Theèmer. Chrome for Android will start soon “Go on board”By displaying the gesture handle navigation bar on web pages.
More specifically, Chrome “will draw the web content to the edge of the lower device by extending the window in the area of the gesture navigation bar”.
This is compared to the current navigation bar displaying the gestural pill against a united color.
In the future, the gesture handle will appear above web content when you scroll. When you don’t scroll (and the address bar at the top is visible), you still have the old background.
Static vs scrolling
Behind the scenes, Chrome will display a new “dynamic background bar” – called “the chin“By Google – on the area of the gesture navigation bar:” … The Chrome address bar and the chin dynamically retract when the page scrolls down. This causes the window to be extent, allowing web content to be drawn to the lower edge of the device. »»
You will not really see more of the page with this change, but it is a good chrome and android modernization. This change has no impact on the status bar (with notification and system icons), which would make a real experience on board.

This start of the complete chrome course on “small devices” (with a large screen support to come later) will start with version 135, which should start to deploy in the stable channel on April 1. However, tests are already underway with previous versions.
