Circle to Search is finally starting to arrive for Nothing smartphones

We’re only days away from the end of 2024, and despite the fact that Android 16 already has its second developer preview ready for testing, the vast majority of phones haven’t even received Android 15 yet. While manufacturers like Samsung take their time with a very deliberate, controlled and ultimately slow approach to their beta testing, more nimble players like Nothing have been able to attract attention with stable Android 15 for their own phones. Nothing OS 3.0 has been available for the company’s latest phones for a little over a week now, and today we’re discovering an additional feature that’s arriving.

Circle to Search has become one of the most useful and discreet Android tools of the year, and after early availability on Samsung and Google smartphones, it’s gearing up to go from strength to strength. Following the release of operating system 3.0, Nothing now shares that Circle to Search is available on Nothing Phone 2, Phone 2a and Phone 2a Plus.

Currently, Nothing OS 3.0 stable version is only available for phones 2 and 2a. So while Phone 2a Plus users can also start trying Circle to Search, they will need to be on the beta track. Based on the company’s announcement on its community forums, it appears that Circles to Search just needed some more testing, and that’s why it wasn’t initially available when the stable version of Nothing OS 3.0 was released. abandoned for the first time.
