Sick New World will return to the Las Vegas Music Festival grounds on April 27, 2024, with the one-day music extravaganza once again boasting a strong line-up
System of a Down are once again headlining the festival, and this year Slipknot are joining them. Other major bands include A Perfect Circle, Alice in Chains, Bring Me the Horizon, Danny Elfman, Primus, Lamb of God, Sleep Token, Knocked Loose, BABYMETAL, etc.
Ticket pre-sale codes will be provided via an email/text list and you can sign up via the Sick New World website. The pre-sale will launch on Friday (October 13) at 10am PT. Tickets remaining after the pre-sale will go on sale to the public later that day (Friday, October 13) at 2pm PT. Various ticket tiers will be available, as well as installment payment options.
The festival lineup once again boasts a cross-genre focus, including alternative metal, nu metal, punk, metalcore, industrial and more. Slowdive, Swans, Duster, Killing Joke, Static-X, Sevendust, Have a Nice Life, Code Orange, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Lords of Acid and 3TEETH, to name a few, are eclectic.
The announcement of the first Sick New World in 2023 caused widespread celebration among fans of nu metal and industrial music. It provides a major festival platform for these genres, tapping into the growing nostalgia for the era.
The promoters pulled out all the stops for the original lineup, which included System of a Down, Korn, Deftones, Incubus, Evanescent, Mr. Bungle, Papa Roach, Ministry, Skinny Puppy and more. It’s worth noting that modern bands influenced by these veterans – such as Turnstile, Death Grips and 100 gecs – are also on the list.
