Genesis Connected service now available for free to new owners of 2023 or later model years
The security, maintenance, convenience and remote features included in the Genesis Connected Care, Remote and Coaching subscription packages are now available on a free, non-trial basis to new buyers using Genesis Connected Services (subject to 4G LTE network and technology) . Free Genesis Connected Services is available on all 2023 and newer Genesis Connected Services models.
Genesis enriches the owner experience by providing first-time owners with free, industry-leading connectivity plans by standardizing access to top-tier safety, maintenance, convenience and remote technology features. Subsequent owners can still use safety and vehicle maintenance-related features of 2023 and newer models for free, and purchase a subscription for convenience and remote technology features.
At Genesis, every vehicle is designed to deliver the latest safety, technology and convenience features our customers value most. Through Genesis Connected Services, customers have seamless access to advanced safety and convenience technologies such as automatic collision notification, charge management, digital key, enhanced roadside assistance, remote start with climate control and stolen vehicle recovery. Genesis Connected Services can be easily accessed through the vehicle display, the web, and Genesis owners’ compatible smartphone apps or smartwatches.

Genesis Connected Services were previously offered free for the first three years of ownership. Existing first-tier owners of 2023 and newer Genesis Connected Services models have received the update, with their Genesis Connected Services now free after the first three years, and the 4G LTE network will not expire over the life of the vehicle. All existing 2023 first-time owners and new owners of eligible Genesis vehicles purchased through retailers will now receive this enhanced Genesis Connected Services offering.

I Buyers and lessees of new 2023 Genesis models equipped with GCS can enjoy free Genesis Connected Services (no subscription required) (GCS). Not available on all models and trims. GCS requires a valid GCS account and compliance with the GCS Terms and Conditions. Only use GCS functions and corresponding equipment when it is safe to do so. Requires cellular and GPS coverage. Features, specifications and fees subject to change.
GCS relies on digital wireless telecommunications technology that is outside Genesis’ control. GCS relies on 4G LTE cellular networks controlled and maintained by third-party wireless carriers. If these networks change and/or cease service, or the underlying technology required to support GCS becomes obsolete, connected services will become inoperable and Genesis will be forced to remove affected services.
