Google deploys the simple capacity to search for your open tabs, as well as the synchronization of the tab group, with Chrome for Android.
In the switcher tab, you will see a new search bar above the grid of open sites. This pill -shaped field remains anchored at the top of your screen.
Tapping takes you to a search screen, with Chrome First Listing “Last Open Tabs”. The entry of a term displays an open site, as well as the results of “bookmarks”, “history” and “web research”. A click simply loads this tab. This is also available with incognito mode, while Desktop Chrome offered this basic feature for a while.
We see the search for tabs deployed with Chrome 133 For Android in a curious Friday afternoon / evening deployment. If it’s not yet living on your side, Stop Chrome Force.
Meanwhile, Google seems to have largely deployed the synchronization of the tab group in recent days. At the top of the tabularity grid, you will see a new 2 × 2 icon. This shows groups available from devices connected to Chrome, including from Desktop.
Under settings> Advanced> tabs, you will see a preference “automatically open the groups of tabs from other devices” that you can take. It is activated by default, but not ideal if you just want groups of specific to the device.
Meanwhile, you may also have pages that have not been used for 21 days (unrest by default) have been transferred in an inactive section / card ” / card above the grid. You can deactivate this (” never ”) or set after 7 or 14 days.
- Double archive tabs: All double tabs will now be archived, except for the most recently used copy.
- Climb after 60 days: The inactive tabs will be automatically closed. You can always find them in history.
