Google Translate is an excellent application, and frankly, that which I consider to be a change of game. It made communication in extremely easy and practical languages, by removing a great point of pain from international travel and more. However, Google Translate only helps to translate languages and not learn a new one, where applications like Duolingo come with their gamified approach to learn a new language.
