It is true, the players are now convinced that they could be rewarded in the Bitcoin style crypto while causing chaos to vice city. And honestly, it seems so wild that it is almost suitable for the GTA atmosphere. But is it real? Does Rockstar really build a payment system based on crypto in its most in force game of all time? Or is it just another fantasy of fans that becomes uncontrollable? Let’s decompose it.
Cryptographic payments in GTA 6? The rumor started with the media threw and fan of fan
The idea you could win from cryptocurrency by playing GTA 6 was serious traction. In recent months, fans have speculated on Rockstar potentially adding a cryptography -based currency system, or even to let players win rewards in digital tokens.

Even if $ RSTAR is not real at least not yet, it has become a favorite idea for fans. According to speculation, it is a cryptocurrency in play that you could win by finishing robberies or by exchanging in the open world of GTA 6. From now on, Rockstar games made no official comments on the crypto which is part of GTA 6. In fact, their history suggest the opposite. In 2022, Rockstar in fact prohibited the crypto and the NFT of all GTA online servers, citing their policies against monetization through assets based on blockchain.
RP mods and servers could still get there even if Rockstar does not do so
Here is where things become interesting. Even if GTA 6 does not start with a type of official cryptography system, modders and RP creators like Adin Ross could absolutely build it themselves. Personalized RP servers have already added NFT characters, game systems and false cryptography exchanges in their online GTA worlds.
So yes, maybe you will not deposit the real bitcoin of GTA 6, but the servers managed by fans could always give you this experience. Do not expect this in the vanilla version of the game.
