Here’s when the Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy S24 series can get an Android 15 update

A wide range of Galaxy devices, including S, Z, A, M, F series and select, will receive the One UI 7 update.


Samsung has officially launched the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S25 series in unboxing 2025. The new Android 15 update introduces a series of AI features, including the bar now on the lock screen, security features and pro-level editing features. While the Galaxy S25 series comes with an in-built UI 7 update, it’s a question of when it will be available for other devices.

According to reports, the One UI 7 update based on Android 15 will launch to other devices in the first quarter of this year. The rollout is expected to begin with the Galaxy S24 series with the potential release in February. After that, it will gradually roll out to other Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 series in the coming weeks.

For the Unversed, Beta One UI 7 is already available for the Galaxy S24 series in the US, UK, Germany, Poland, Korea, and India. However, the exact deployment timeline of a UI 7 still remains unknown and we will have to wait a few more weeks to get detailed information.

  3. Galaxy A Series: Galaxy A73, A55, A54, A53, A35, A34, A33, A25, A24, A23, A15, A14, A05, A05S.
  4. Galaxy M Series: Galaxy M55, M54, M53, M35, M34, M33, M15.
  5. Galaxy F Series: Galaxy F55, F54, F34, F15.
  6. Galaxy Tab Series: Galaxy Tab S9, S9+, Ultra, Fe, Fe+, Tab S8, S8+, Ultra, Tab A9, A9+, Tab S6 Lite (2024).

However, we will have to wait for the official announcement of the release schedule and supported devices to get the exact details.
