Home Hub will not be shipped until iOS 19 launches

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the expected new Home Hub Device d’Apple was delayed after WWDC in June 2025.

Various with a domestic center or a homepod with a screen, this new device should be an intelligent domestic controller that could actually look like an iPad. Be that as it may, what is called, code references to what seems to be it was found in February 2024, and a display manufacturer would have been selected in January 2025.

One of the rare coherent forecasts on the aircraft is that it is forever six months, and a recent report said that it would now be launched at the end of 2025. Now Ming-Chi Kuo new complaint On Twitter supports this and says that the delay is due to software development problems.

“Three months ago, I predicted that the mass production of the new HomePod equipped with the display would go from 1T25 to 3q25 (after WWDC) due to software development problems,” he wrote. “Beyond the Apple Intelligence, the problems also involve ensuring that the HomePod interface aligns with the new updates of the operating system (such as iOS 19) to deploy on other devices in 2h25.”

“This alignment is essential to transparently integrate new products into Apple ecosystem,” concludes Kuo.

Apple certainly delays the elements of iOS, having recognized that the features of Apple Intelligence in Siri take longer than expected. He would also have prepared a spectacular overhaul both iOS and macOS for the announcement at WWDC 2025.

It is therefore more than possible that the work on the software of a home hub has been postponed while Apple developers focus on Apple Intelligence, iOS 19 and MacOS 16. It would also be special that the domestic center be launched with the appearance of iOS 18 if iOS 19 is really distinctly different.

However, saying that Apple delayed the center of origin until after WWDC, does not make sense. Although iOS 19 is announced in June, it will not be released publicly before September, or even in October.

Kuo also says that the center of origin will be released in the third quarter, and this ends on September 30, 2025. Thus, rather than implicating that Apple would publish something that required beta software, Kuo could mean that the launch will be just at the end of the quarter.

Except that this is when the iPhone 17 range will also be announced. Apple uses this event to raise awareness among other devices, most often the Apple Watch, so that it can group the center of origin in this ad.

Only, this iPhone 17 event is expected to introduce a new slim iPhone in the range. Apple is therefore more likely to make the iPhone 17 Slim to the subject of its projectors.

Kuo also predicts the imminent launch of a HomePod with screen since 2024. In addition, while the analyst had previously had good precision experience, in the past two years, he has made affirmations which often seem to be a single speculation.
