How to try the Apple overhaul now on iPhone

Apple should largely give iOS 19 a massive design overhaul at WWDC 2025 after leaks showed concept concepts according to what they have seen and shared information they heard on Apple’s software levels.

YouTuber Jon Prosser demo a camera application model a few months ago, discussing the alleged redesign of iOS 19 based on Apple Visionos.

More recently, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman mentioned the same design plans for the iPhone, saying that Apple has more important plans. All its operating systems will see similar design changes as Apple plans to make them easier to use. The overhaul would make the switching between an iPhone, an iPad and an even more transparent Mac and launch the basics of the more complex devices of the future, such as iPads and Mac foldable with touch screens.

In addition, some of the new applications that Apple has published already sway the new design, which suggests that iOS 19 will receive similar changes. This is the latest sports and invite application, of course.

Apple announced WWDC 2025 earlier this week, the first poster for the event teasing some of the rumor changes. The iPhone is supposed to obtain translucent buttons and menus that seem to hover at the top of other user interface elements, similar to Visionos.

Unsurprisingly, a designer has created an iOS 19 concept that you can suppose suppose via application clips.

Discovered by 9TO5MACIOS 19 seen in the upper image is available at this link of a user called Shane.

The design presents round icons and translucent menus, as seen in the concepts of prosser. The icons also recall Visionos, the pro -vision operating system.

The installation of the application clip allows you to interact with certain applications, including settings, music and camera. The latter even offers a live overview if you give permission of the application clip.

However, nothing in this design is official at this stage. It is not unusual for designers to offer iOS concepts before WWDC events. This happens all the time, regardless of leaks in the matter.

Speaking of leaks, Prosser published another video on YouTube which reviews the modifications to iOS 19 this year by exceeding Apple applications. So-called, Apple wanted to rethink iOS last year, but had to report it until 2025 to focus on Apple Intelligence for iOS 18. Unfortunately, we know how this effort turned out to be.

Prosser new video Displays notifications on the lock screen, user interface menus, new keyboard and some of Apple’s native applications. The IOS 19 concept presents the same translucidity observed in previous videos. The menus are rounder, some buttons are circular and everything seems floating.

The new video also tells us that Apple will not change the appearance of application icons. They will keep their current conception rather than imitate application icons in Visionos. However, they could be translucent, as seen in the screenshot above.

This does not mean that prosser’s information is perfectly accurate. Gurman challenged the model of YouTuber’s messages which preceded the video below, saying that the design of Prosser was based on an old iOS 19. Again, Gurman never produces models for Apple hardware or software leaks for which he is known. In addition, the two leaks have already been wrong.
