HyunA and Yong Jun Hyung have reportedly tied the knot after confirming their relationship earlier this year. The couple is planning to tie the knot on October 11.
HyunA and former Highlight member Yong Jun Hyung, who announced their relationship in January this year, are reportedly planning to tie the knot. The couple made their romance official on Instagram by posting a photo with a “lovey-dovey” emoji. This comes after HyunA broke up with her ex-lover Dawn, who she reportedly dated for six years before calling off their engagement and eventually announcing their split on a mutual front.
HyunA to marry Jun Hyung: report
On July 8, an exclusive report from South Korean media outlet YTN confirmed that the former Wonder Girls member will be getting married to her boyfriend, who she has been dating for nearly six months. The report also claimed that the couple has booked October 11 for their big day. As for the wedding, it will only take place in Seoul. The source who spoke to the outlet explained that it is “too early to get married,” saying that the couple is confident in their love.

Agency Responds To HyunA And Junhyung Marriage Rumors
Yong Jun Hyung’s agency BLACK MADE was the first to respond to the marriage rumor that sparked a frenzy in the fandom. In a statement to Newsen, the agency said, “This is the first time we’ve heard of this. We will release a statement after verifying the facts.” Meanwhile, HyunA’s agency AT AREA has yet to respond to the reports.
“They have been friends for a long time and understand the challenges of the entertainment industry well. Their trust and faith are strong as they comfort and sympathize with each other,” a source told YTN. “They recently transitioned from friends to lovers and decided to get married because they are convinced of their love,” the source added, emphasizing that they are looking forward to seeing them make a stronger comeback with more positivity after the wedding.

After splitting from her longtime partner Dawn in November 2022, the K-pop star found love again with Yong Jun Hyung. HyunA, who left JYP Entertainment in 2008, joined Cube Entertainment where she debuted with the new girl group 4MINUTE. Similarly, Yong Jun Hyung, then 19, debuted with Cube Entertainment as part of the six-member boy group BEAST. On the professional front, HyunA made her comeback to the music scene after a two-year hiatus with her new mini album Attitude, which was released on May 2.
