Apple recently deployed iOS 18.4 to eligible iPhone models, and it is a big patch. So many new features have been added to the iPhone ecosystem that users always discover the upgrades included. The Photos Application has received new organizational tools. The library section now has two additional filters: “Shared with you” and “Not in an album”. The first displays images that have been synchronized from a Mac or PC, while the second shows images that are not contained in any album. Shared with you and not in an album will be automatically included in the filters menu in the photos, so you don’t need to activate anything.
Users can now deactivate recently viewed and recently shared albums. To do this, launch the settings menu, go to the entrance to the photos, then scroll until you find Show recently viewed and shared. Enter this section and press the rocking switch to hide the album you no longer want to see.
