I like anything essential, but it didn’t need a button

I had trouble with many AI features that exceed Android and iOS. I know that many of them are supposed to be useful, and many of my colleagues have found ways to integrate them into their daily life, but as a writer and researcher, I often have the impression that the features try to replace what I am good. However, now that nothing has introduced the first version of its essential space, I start to change my air.

Even if I count writing and research among my skills, I cannot always say the same thing for the organization, this is where nothing is a new tool. It’s like the best of Google’s Pixel screenshot, recorder and a notes application that has been brought together in one, but there is something that I can’t shake: why in the world does not need anything to give it a material button?

Essential Space is all my favorite organizational applications in a single

Before arriving at what extent the essential key is silly, I have to repeat it – I really like the essential space. It is not perfect and certainly always in development, but it is useful to replace several of the other organizational applications on which I would generally count. The way it works is also quite simple – you can hang screenshots or save vocal memos, then the essential space will analyze them in the cloud and spit out the reminders and important chips of your content.

In practice, the essential space has become my essential assistant to determine my summer concert plans. You see, living so close to Washington DC and Columbia Merriweather Pavilion, it is very easy for me to be ambitious with the amount of live music that I can live. With an essential space, however, I was able to pass through several of my favorite sites to enter screenshots of different shows and when their respective tickets will be sold. The AI models based on the cloud of nothing then browse each concert ad, by drawing prices and shows, giving me simple reminders that I can manage by friends so that we can decide collectively if we are able to make the show.

The essential space has become my go-to for summer concert reminders, without a doubt.

I also tested the essential space of nothing when planning my weekend for the Boston marathon. If you’ve already considered a trip to Newbury Street the race weekend, you know how much it can be busy with races and influence meetings, and make a plan for them can be just as difficult as training for the marathon itself. So, I jumped into the functionality of the vocal recorder of the essential space during a race with friends to determine how many groups of groups wanted to do, then I left my 3A phone to transcribe our collective thoughts. Again, it surprised me with the effectiveness of reminders.

Of course, the essential space of nothing is always a work in progress. Although you can capture screenshots and save vocal notes in the application, there is no way to add photos or memos recorded elsewhere, which means that you need to take screenshot screenshots or memorize and re -record your thoughts before nothing analyzes them. Fortunately, however, nothing at least seems willing to improve its essential key as it seems. My 3A and 3a Pro phone has just received their updates NOTHING OS 3.1, which added the possibility of using the essential key in the camera, by deleting at least one hiccups to add photos for subsequent use.

Unfortunately, there could be another problem with nothing of the essential space – it may not be free forever. Currently, the functionality is on the 3A and 3A Pro phone at no cost, allowing you to capture and download notes and screenshots as often as you wish. However, a deep dive into the application APK revealed lines of code mentioning free trials, treatment limits and a potential price of $ 120. This is not an excellent sign for an application that is not currently compatible and is limited to budgetary phones where the cost of an annual subscription would be close to a third of the price of the phone itself. We will have to wait and see how nothing is approaching the future of its essential space, but it leaves the beginning of a bitter taste in my mouth.

There is just a problem with more buttons (or at least it)

Although I am always in “waiting and seeing” mode with regard to the duration of the essential space and what it will end up costing, I decided on something else: demand the essential key to access and add things to the essential space is the worst. Or, the button itself can be correct, but I don’t like the decision to do anything to put it just below the power button because I continue to press the accident. I probably lost the account of the times I took my 3A phone and pressing a button, only to realize that I caught another screenshot of my lock screen that I should then delete.

Of course, nothing is not the first to add a hardware button to its latest version – Apple did the same thing when it added the camera control to its iPhone 16 series. However, the main difference between the essential key and the control of the camera is that the Apple button is entirely optional. It gives you an easy way to take a photo, slide between photographic styles and adjust your zoom, but you can also do all these same things in the appliance of the camera as you have probably done in recent years. I used it from time to time, but I didn’t feel like I was missing by ignoring it.

Essential key? Let’s be honest, it should be an optional key.

On the other hand, the essential key is absolutely necessary to save anything in your essential space. You must press it to enter a screenshot and maintain it to save a voice note, and there is no backup option for both features. Currently, you cannot remedy any other material buttons to launch an essential space, and you cannot change the essential key to doing something else. Vocal commands and screen gestures like the three finger screenshot do not work either. Worse still, total dependence on a hardware button means that nothing of the essential space will not come back to the devices that we loved in 2024, like the 2A Plus phone, forcing fans of budgetary Android to update their phones for something that nothing considers, well, essential.

So, I can’t believe I say this, but I would like to see nothing to follow in the traces of Apple. Not in the sense that I want him to change his flavor close to Android closer to iOS, but in the sense that he must make his space essential. I like the functionality, but I think it must support several entries, especially for users who cannot press the material buttons, in order to really experience its name.
