Apple is set to release iOS 18.2.1, a mysterious update for iPhone, just weeks after the release of iOS 18.2, according to a new report.
iPhone maker is internally testing iOS 18.2.1 for upcoming release, Apple-focused site says MacRumorswhich spotted the update in its website analytics logs. These logs have been accurate in the past, making it likely that iOS 18.2.1 is indeed being prepared for imminent release.
The iOS 18.2.1 update comes after Apple released iOS 18.2 in December, with its first major Apple Intelligence features, including Siri integration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
So, what’s in the iOS 18.2.1 upgrade and when can you expect it to arrive?
iOS 18.2.1 Bug Fixes
Apple’s iOS 18.2 seems to have come with a some bugswhich is particularly annoying because there doesn’t seem to be an equivalent iOS 17.7 update for these. running iOS 17. These include touchscreen responsiveness and Wi-Fi problems and reports of battery drain and app crash.
