Apple’s latest beta version for iOS 18.4 – The next version of the main iPhone software – has just been released, bringing a horde of new features. While most of the features are intended for the iPhone 16 series, including the latest iPhone 16th, iOS 18.4 Beta 2 extends Apple Intelligence’s best functionality to ancient iPhones. It brings visual intelligence to iPhone 15 pro and iPhone 15 pro Max models from 2023.
When visual intelligence was deployed for the first time last year, optimized for the camera control button in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro ranges. However, the functionality was deployed on the iPhone 16th recently launched without camera control. The second beta version of iOS 18.4 adds visual intelligence to the IPhone 15 Pro series, which also lacks control of the camera. These iPhone devices support visual intelligence via the action button and a dedicated rocking in the control center.
The iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max have supported all the features of Apple Intelligence since its arrival as part of iOS 18.1 in October. Visual intelligence, however, has not been unavailable even in beta versions.
A part of Apple Intelligence Services, Visual Intelligence, allows users to point from the iPhone camera to anything and ask contextual questions. For example, a user could invoke visual intelligence on his iPhone and point the camera on a dish to ask questions about his calories and nutritional information. He joined Chatgpt, as well as Google Image Search, to offer results according to questions.
Should be deployed in April, iOS 18.4 will bring the next wave of features of Apple Intelligence. It will highlight iPhone users in India, expanding the service to support more languages, including Indian English. The next iOS 18 update will also assume better support for more Indian languages, such as Bangla, Ourdou and Gujarati for system -scale navigation.
