IOS 19, the rumor saying again presents the “glass” conception of visionos

The Jon Prosser leak today shared a “first overview” of the next Apple iOS 19 update, offering models of what the different applications and features will look like. Prosser claims that models are based on the “real affair” version of ‌ios 19‌ that he saw, but says he shares replicas of images in order to prevent his sources from putting himself in difficulty.

Confusedly, Prosser’s video has design changes that are “real” and others that he invented as a joke. It includes a home screen view with round icons rather than square icons, for example, but at the end of the video, it says that it is not a precise representation of what the icons will look like.

Here is what Prosser has to say about different elements ‌ios 19‌:

• Locking screen – There is no functional change, but there is a visual overhaul. In the prosser model, it looks like the current locking screen, with some translucent changes to notifications and a more 3D floating look with buttons.
• Settings and popups – Menu elements, contextual windows and buttons have a more rounded aesthetic with a “glassy” style.
• Applications – The menus and application buttons will have the same look with rounded corners, a circular design and a floating style on the visionos model.
• Keyboard – There is a more rounded design at the top with a vitreous visionos design. Prosser says that the keyboard “seems almost floating”.

Before today’s video, Prosser shared models of messages and camera applications, which have the design he described. There are floating navigation buttons in the shape of a bubble and mild and rounder corners for interface elements, as well as additional translussity.

According to Prosser, the sports app and Apple invitations offer an interior overview of what the redesign ‌ios 19‌ will look like the previous discussion on how Apple has already used glass buttons and interface elements for its latest applications.

Prosser says that on the whole, there is no sign of new features of major IA or other important additions, with ‌ios 19‌ focusing mainly on design updates.
