IOS 19 will be unveiled in less than two months at WWDC. And rumors indicate that there is at least one iOS 19 change which will be particularly valuable for users of large iPhones: a search bar moved to applications.

When rumors began to spread to a revised iOS conception, I suspect that many of us have focused mainly on visual changes.
IOS 19, however, should also make functional improvements with its overhaul.
According to Jon Prosser, there is a change that will have an impact on users of large iPhones in particular.
iOS 19 would apparently have Move the applications search bar at the bottom of the application—A big change compared to its current location.
In iOS 18, the standard search bar inside an application is very close to the top of the screen. This can make it difficult to involve large iPhones.
I use an iPhone 16 pro and I have large hands, and I can barely reach the search field with my thumb – and I really have to stretch to do it.
The iPhone 17 of this fall will have an even larger screen, and of course, the Pro Max display is already much larger. I imagine with the current iOS design, reaching research often requires two hands.
But with iOS 19, research moves to a much more natural location: below where your thumb already rests.

Currently, the messages field of messages is at the top of the application, and you must lower it to reveal it.
In iOS 19, research is visible at any time and easily accessible at the bottom.
This seems true, whether or not an application has a tab bar at the bottom. Prosser shows models of music and the app store as examples with tab bars, and messages like one without him.
The last large Apple iOS overhaul took place before iPhone screens started to become enormous. I hope that we will see a lot of changes in iOS 19, such as the moved search bar, which make the experience of using a big iPhone better than ever.
