It’s time to say goodbye to Google Assistant while Gemini takes over

Google Assistant works with time borrowed as the technology giant announced today (March 14) that it will slowly start to replace Google Assistant with Gemini. Google Assistant has existed since 2016, and we have all used to say “Hey Google” for a better part of a decade now. However, this switch is something that has been on the cards for several months now. Recent rumors have even indicated a new word of awakening in preparation, so it feels like we saw it happening.

It is said that the upgrade would bring personalization to a whole new level, because the gemini can interact with other applications on the phone to better understand the choices of the user.

Google says millions of users have gone from the use of Google Assistant to Gemini. That said, no longer having to choose between Gemini and the assistant could be a step in the right direction, especially since Google has worked to improve the capacities of Gemini and provide assistant features.
