After a few previous performances at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge as part of Little Mix, Leigh-Anne Pinnock stepped out on her own to make her debut on the show. She and her former bandmates have previously covered certified classics and contemporary hits, but Leigh-Anne made her solo debut on Tuesday (October 10) with a cover of the hit “Doja Cat,” a nod to their Live Lounge History makes its own interpretation.
To introduce her cover of Doja’s Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Paint the Town Red,” Leigh-Anne performed a sultry rendition of the first verse and pre-chorus of Dionne Warwick’s “Walk on By” – the song The song is one of Doja’s songs. scarlet Hits originate from their prominent samples. As a member of Little Mix, Leigh-Anne has been a three-time Hot 100 finalist: 2013’s “Wings” (No. 79), 2015’s “Black Magic” (No. 67) and 2016’s “Shout Out To My” Ex 》 (No. 69). On the Billboard 200, the Brit Award-winning girl group charted all five of their studio albums, including a top 10 album, DNA (4th place) and salute (6th place).
