Lenovo has something for everyone with its 2025 Android tablets

At CES 2025 earlier this week, Lenovo announced a handful of new Android tablets coming out this year, and there’s something for everyone.

Starting with the flagship, the new Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus is a $699 Android tablet with a 12.7-inch 144Hz anti-glare display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and a focus on AI features that work on the ‘device. The Yoga Tab Plus makes a good impression in terms of hardware, with a flashy design that includes a reflective glass bar on the back, giving a classic Pixel vibe and also matching the Yoga Slim 9i also launched at the show. It has a magnetic kickstand that fits under the bar and the tablet as a whole is also very thin.

A keyboard case is included in the price, and you’ll also get a Tab Pen Pro and a 45W charger in the box. The keyboard felt nice to the touch, as Lenovo keyboards tend to do, and the magnetic connection was strong. I would have liked, however, if the keyboard and kickstand were connected for better stability, but that’s the current industry standard.

The AI features built into the device weren’t ready for a demo at CES (a bit strange, since the tablet is already available for purchase), but there’s a button on the keyboard to jump to it directly, and the 16GB of onboard RAM should allow this tablet to fly thanks to on-device AI, while just making it a performer overall .

As “flagship” level Android tablets go, this should be a strong contender. Lenovo originally said this was supposed to launch with Android 15, but it’s actually Android 14 out of the box, but with Lenovo’s “PC Mode” available for a better keyboard/trackpad workspace .

Lenovo Yoga Plus is available now from Lenovo.com And Best buybut the blue color comes later.

Meanwhile, the Idea Tab Pro effectively offers the same hardware and software, but at a lower price. The chip is replaced by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 and there’s half the RAM at 8GB. But at $349, this tablet presents exceptional value.

For many, I think the Idea Tab Pro will be a great option for large tablets, especially at this price. I didn’t see any issues with the hardware, and the performance, from my quick glance, was pretty solid as well. Idea Tab Pro will be available in April.

Finally, the Lenovo Tab is a basic tablet at $150. It’s not very powerful with only 4GB of RAM and a low-end MediaTek chip, but its price makes it easily accessible, and Lenovo will offer it with a case designed for children. The hardware was solid and the 10.1-inch screen is good. I’m not sure how the software will hold up to the minimum specs, as Lenovo’s software is known to be slow, even on high-powered devices. This seems like an alternative to the Galaxy Tab A9, but I think I’d go with Samsung on the performance side. I was surprised to see that the Lenovo tablet was not Also However, I’m bogged down in my demo at CES, so I’m at least hoping this will provide a decent experience.

The Lenovo Tab will be available in June.
