Dynamo remembered Heslin as “brilliant, selfless, talented and a true guardian angel.”

The grieving spouse recalled how Heslin helped him “through several bouts of cancer.”

“He was the first person everyone called to share good news, and he was the perfect person to call if you needed a shoulder to lean on or the best advice,” Dynamo said in his lengthy tribute, adding that Heslin was “the sweetest, most caring, most loving man on earth.”

According to Dynamo, the couple were “on the verge of starting a family” and had even recently started thinking about their “preferred names for our future children.”

His wife added that Heslin’s dream was also to become a donor and that through his death he would be able to offer “the gift of life to four different families.”

Before closing, Dynamo noted that the couple was “3 weeks away from your birthday and 4 months away from our first wedding anniversary.” He concluded his heartfelt message with a Shania Twain quote: “I will love you forever and ever.”

A GoFundMe campaign was launched after Heslin’s death to help cover funeral and hospital expenses, and to provide support to Heslin’s loved ones.
