WWE Fastlane is back after a year-long hiatus, and this year’s edition offers an interesting match card that could lead to big things for the company as Road to WrestleMania approaches.
Typically held after the Royal Rumble, this year’s event will be Fastlane’s first in the fall. Three of the five games will be for the title, but arguably the most compelling matchup doesn’t involve a championship.
John Cena will continue to return with the rising LA Knight, and the two will face off against The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Jimmy U Jimmy Uso, which could give us a preview of who might be next to face Roman Reigns. The World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Women’s Championship and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions will all be on the line, as well as a six-man tag team match from two emerging factions.
Here’s what you need to know before the game at Gaybridge Arena in Indianapolis:

It’s a new era in WWE for Montez Ford.
Since debuting in 2016 as the Street Profits alongside Angelo Dawkins, Ford has brought ease to the tag team division with their much-hyped, solo cup performances atmosphere. The trio will take on the LWO at Fastlane on Saturday – Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar and either Joaquin Wilde or Cruz Del. Cruz Del Toro, their first game, and Ford hopes it will be a preview of a rejuvenated run. team.
